Well, from the last e-mail I sent not a lot of crazy experiences happened but we saw huge blessings from the hand of the lord. I feel very grateful for the opportunity I had to witness so many different miracles in my area.
The biggest piece of news is WE HAVE ANOTHER BAPTISM. We have been teaching this lady, Teresa, since the first part of November. When we first found her she was in a bit of an emotional disaster. She had a bit of a past with depression issues, "might" have gotten involved with some black magic 20 years previous, and was in bad shape to say the least. She has been coming to church now for 3 straight months now, paying tithing, basically being an active member. Long story short, we scheduled an interview with Presidente Lopez and her yesterday and SHE PASSED! She is going to be baptized on the 26th of this month. When she came out of the interview she was just beaming with joy and we could tell that the spirit had confirmed to her that she was ready. We are very excited for her and know that she will be an excellent member of the church.
Elder Bingham and I started teaching a family that we dropped about 2 months ago. They have been coming to church, on their own, for the last 2 weeks and are showing that they are ready to be baptized. They were in a waiting process to get their marriage license but now things are looking to be all clear so hopefully by the middle of next month we should be having three more baptisms.
I have grown to love my area. I thought in the beginning it would be hard to love another ward besides Montana del Sur. One thing is for sure, I still love that ward and the converts that are there. However I know that I have seen growth in the area and the branch I am serving in now. It has been the most incredible experience to work with the people up here. I have seen a lot of miracles....more than I could possibly count. I know that the Lord blesses us when we are obedient to his commandments and when we seek to magnify our callings. I know that as we diligently strive to become more like Christ we begin to see the world in a new light. Being a missionary is an incredible experience and one that I am very grateful to have. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Sincerely,
Elder Klemme
