Another post...so soon? :)

Hey Everybody!!

Well, I was smart this week to budget my time so now I have time to write a post. I don't really have a ton to report on since my last post on Thursday but here's a little rundown of what happened.

Last week was a very busy week. Getting a new companion is always a bit of work because you need to take him to meet all the ward leaders and really get him assimilated into the missionary work. The process is a little bit harder with new missionaries because they are still learning missionary field culture and, really, just aren't quite sure what is going on. I love training because it humbles me to remember just what it was like for me my first few days as a missionary. It was a great experience but I am SOO glad that I have a little bit of a better clue now than what I did before.

But, we were able to get Elder Mortensen introduced to the leaders really fast last week which allowed us to hit the ground running on all cylinders to start off the transfer. Always a great blessing :D

I guess all there is to talk about was the amazing, blessing filled weekend we had. We were able to set 3 baptismal dates with investigators that we have been working for for a long time. We are really excited for them and are looking forward to finally helping them enter into the waters of baptism. It is looking like our ward is going to continue to grow! I know that we are seeing these blessings because of our wards increased efforts to include themselves in the missionary work and assimilate our new members better. I look forward to working with them for the next few weeks.

Well my friends, I know this was short but, then again, I did just write a few days ago. I hope that you all are alive and well. I am doing great. It's heating up but, I know that we have been quickened and supported by our Heavenly Father because, quite frankly, a lot of times we don't even recognize it. Anyways, I hope you all have a great week and keep pressing forward with steadfast and immovable faith in our Savior Jesus Christ!! iHasta luego!

Hey Everyone!!

Well, it's official. I will be staying in South Phoenix for my 7th transfer! I am super excited and am looking forward to working with the ward for a little bit longer. Not only that, but I am training the only assigned new spanish nino to the mission this transfer. My first nino, Elder Giles, is now in another Zone step training and acting as a new district leader and my second born, Elder Neubert is being step-trained by my brother, Elder Chipman. So, some pretty big changes but a lot of awesome opportunity.

Also, this last saturday we had our one and only baptism of the month and transfer. The whole weekend was filled with white which was incredible. We had 5 baptisms in the district, 4 of which were in our own ward. It was so amazing. Our baptism was very well attended and the program, service, everything was very close to the best baptism I have ever attended. I was very proud of our ward for doing such a good job. The spirit was very strong and it was a great way to end of the transfer.

In other news....well, I guess that is all my news! :) I realize that this is a bit shorter this week. I apologize. We weren't able to e-mail on Monday because of the Holiday and we have a ton of appointments to be getting to so we only had a small amount of time to write. But I will be sending another e-mail on Monday so I'll be a little more in depth I promise :D. Enjoy the pictures, have a great week. Love you all and I'll talk to you on Monday!! :D

"The Miracle Man": The baptism of Jacinto Valle. He just fell into our teaching pool about a couple of weeks ago. He's already finished The Book of Mormon, read the whole Gospel Principles book, and is just incredible. His baptism was amazing and the Spirit dwelt very strong there.

"Baby Klemme #3": This is my new companion (and 3rd kid) Elder Mortensen. He is from Monterrey California and is just fired up for the work. I'm looking forward to working with him for the next 6 weeks!!
